Since January 2008 Stendec have worked closely with one of the most iconic MTB frame designer/builders ever, Jeff Steber founder of Intense Cycles.

Racing is the most important factor in the development of any successful mountain bike brand. Jeff’s vision has given the best racers in the world the edge and his personal attention to minute changes ensure that riders success. Stendec are proud to be part of that process.

The Latest design out of Jeff’s workshop is the M6 Evo an 8.5 inch travel second generation VPP design with a + - 1 degree head angle adjustment, two progression settings, two wheelbase options and a two BB height adjustments, the most adjustable Intense yet.

Pre season testing in San Romolo, Pieve De Teco and San Maxime has seen this latest incarnation the M6 Evo much quicker into, through and exiting turns than previous intense DH designs, its set up for a multitude of courses and surface types has been much easier to achieve, CRC Intense Factory rider Julian Camellini reports that he is much faster on the M6 Evo.

TRAINING IN THE FRENCH ALPS

Over the past couple of years, I have been working as Head Mechanic on the ChainReactionCycles/Intense team... during the summer months, they have been based just outside Morzine at Chalet JoJo (winterandsummer.com). Of all the years I have been on the race circuit, I have never found a more relaxed, well catered alpine retreat - Jo's cooking is exactly what you need.
