Welcome to Stendec the authentic service and tuning workshop for all your suspension needs. Stendec are the only independent suspension company that travel to all world cup events tuning suspension at the highest level, now in its ninth season we continue in 2009 at the cutting edge of technology. Stendec and Racing

The knowledge base gained from our time at the race circuit is used every day in our workshop and is passed directly to our customers, we understand that not everyone races but to know the capabilities of a suspension unit tested at the highest level of competition gives us the knowledge of how far we can take it, always keeping in mind that reliability is just as important. Once proven, this knowledge can is used for our customers to enjoy.

Why Stendec

Dave Garland formed Stendec because of his passion for Racing, he is dedicated to the sport of Downhill and 4x racing, his reputation for the ability to work with riders to give them the exact setup they need for the type of course they’re racing on is why pro’s like working with him, check out the rider list Dave has worked for, many of which call on him for tuning advise and test days in the off season so when its time to go racing they’re ready.
Stendec’s workshop is small but very well equipped; there is no need to have large premises because we don’t have a production line of employees its just one person that answers your queries and the same person that does the work. That’s what sets Stendec apart from the rest. We keep it personal.

We are also in the process of building a new workshop, which will be ready by the middle of 2009, this is to house new machinery and will enable you to come and see us to discuss your requirements, hang out and see what we actually do to your suspension, we will also be offering some new services as well, details coming soon.

If there is a downside to keeping it small it comes from closing the workshop periodically when Dave leaves for a world cup race but its not for long, the website will keep you informed about these dates.

In 2008 stendec teamed up with CRC Intense and Intense factory racing to provide technical support at all UCI world cup DH events using the Manitou Dorado fork and Cane Creek Double Barrel shock.
The 2009 season is will be one of the toughest seasons ever and demands on equipment tested to the limit, Stendec will be there to ensure that it’s a successful one.
